Here are our tips for setting up amazing tables and enjoying a great time with family or friends.

1. Less is more

We recommend not overloading the tables. It’s better to place one or two objects rather than filling the table with decorations, as it will clutter the space and leave no room for food.

To add warmth, the table lamps will be your best allies. Another element that will help you create a cozy atmosphere is decorative LED light bottles which, besides being trendy, will create a very pleasant ambiance thanks to their soft light. Another option is to prepare a small centerpiece with a natural fiber base, some candles of different sizes, and a few sprigs of artificial or dried flowers.

2. "Naked" Tables

We love leaving tables visible, as long as they are made of a material that doesn’t scratch or natural wood. You can replace the traditional tablecloth with placemats or table runners in natural fabrics and textures like cotton or linen—here’s an option we love!

Also, if you like cotton tablecloths, forget about perfection! Since we seek practicality, we recommend spreading the tablecloth and making a few small wrinkles with your hands. This way, we create a much more relaxed and natural feel for our table, without worrying about wrinkles.

3. Stain-resistant tablecloths

If tables without tablecloths don’t convince you and you want an all-terrain yet beautiful table, then stain-resistant tablecloths and washable ones are your best option. At muy mucho, we offer a wide variety of plain stain-resistant tablecloths, with floral prints, stripes… Here’s a classic that never fails:

Its neutral tone makes it easy to combine with any decorative style. Additionally, its composition includes Teflon, which waterproofs the fabric and makes it stain-resistant. Stains can be easily removed immediately with a damp cloth and soap, though you can also wash it in the washing machine on a low-temperature cycle.

4. Mix & match!

We believe in decoration without rules, letting our imagination and creativity flow. Take a chance and play with different sets of dinnerware, cutlery, and glassware that match in pattern and color, even shape. You’re sure to impress everyone!

5. Add a natural touch!

To give your table the finishing touch and create that warm, relaxed atmosphere we all love, natural elements or items made from eco-friendly materials are a must. For example, small natural fiber baskets for bread or the oil bottle, placemats made of plant fiber, wooden boards as chargers or decorative elements… the trick is in the material!

Also, a few sprigs of natural, dried, or artificial flowers placed in a little corner of the table (for example, on a small wooden board) will add the perfect finishing touch.
